Brazed Diamond Wheels

These are super grinders are priced great and are in a slight cup or flat shape. Stone just flies off, even on harder marbles. They are rated to work on electric or air angle grinders. Since these are brazed diamond wheels they last a long time. Maximize their use by letting them cool for a few seconds frequently and do not press down too hard: it's not necessary!

Please call or email so we can help select the correct tools for your carving needs.

  Silicon Carbide Green “Stones”

These are green silicon carbide abrasives (the best) mounted to a ¼” shaft. They are all an aggressive 24 grit. They work in a standard drill or electric and air die grinders (rated at 20,000 rpm except the 2”X2” is rated at 12,000). These can be easily shaped to round or other needed contours by holding them to concrete or granite. These are a very economical way to remove lots of material.

                                Diamond Pads

Diamond pads are much, much faster than sandpaper in finishing. They can be used wet or dry. Many sculptors use the first two grits dry so they can see the scratches and then continue using clean water for successive grits. The hand pads are most comfortable and somewhat flexible while the “strips” and really bend (but do not last as long).
