Electroplated Blades

These are the fastest cutting diamond blades for most marbles (except the hardest). They are thin for minimal kerf and the diamonds do not clog. Unless specified, all blades include a hub or flange (5/8”) to allow for “flush” cutting. Most are made in North America to our 2sculpt specifications.

Sintered Blades

These blades have the diamonds inside the metal so they wear the longest. Side strips of diamonds on the 5” and 7” blades increase the cutting speed. They are best for alabaster and limestone as well as the very hard stones like granite. They tend to “glaze over” in marbles so they do not cut as well in this material.

Vacuum Brazed Blades

This is a newer process where diamonds are partially melted into the metal surface. This makes them stronger than electroplated blades but not subject to glazing as with sintered blades. Therefore these are the most versatile diamond blades. They do cut slower than the electroplated ones since they are thicker but that lets them also be useful for grinding.
