Marbles are metamorphosed calcium carbonate. They range in hardness generally from 3 to 4.5 although some marbles, like the ones from the southwest U.S. and Turkey, might be harder. Travertines are marbles that still have some holes in them (from the way they were formed). Marbles, travertines and onyxes take a beautiful shine and are usually good for indoor or outdoor display.
This is just a representative sample of the marbles, travertines and onyxes in stock.
